Migration Advocacy

We practice data-driven migration advocacy by using hard data, statistical evidence, and research insights to force policy changes that protect migrants and displaced populations. We firmly believe that advocacy without data gets ignored, especially when we are fighting sophisticated information disorder. Academic centres focusing on critical qualitative studies highlight the sheer power of merging deep field data with public policy demands. We generate localised data on digital recruitment scams, trafficking routes, and refugee displacement to build airtight cases for policy reform. We draw on this approach by translating complex research into accessible policy briefs for government officials and international donors. When we advocate for stronger migration governance, we bring concrete evidence of how online deception harms Bangladeshi workers. This data-driven strategy ensures our activism creates tangible solutions. This leads to real results like updated labour laws or increased funding for digital literacy programmes that directly impact migrant safety.
