We are delighted to share that four in-depth, data-driven investigative reports produced as part of the Data Journalism course have been successfully published on national and international journalism platforms.
As part of the coursework, around 20 students worked in four groups to investigate complex, urgent, and consequential issues, including human trafficking, recruitment scams, the Rohingya crisis, and cross-border incidents.
The students conducted data-driven research, analysed information, interviewed relevant sources, and developed investigative reports supported by infographics.
Their work has been published by Dhaka Tribune, a national daily; Global Voices, a multilingual journalism platform; and The Secularist, a UK-based platform promoting equality and journalism.
